Cheyenne - 2 Months Full of Gratitude

****This posts contains videos and to view them you must go to our blog.

Cece's life has definitely been eventful.  She is doing amazing. The rest of us are adjusting to a life with a newborn baby and enjoying having her home.  We are so glad to see her grow.

She is now 8 lbs. 14 oz and 21 inches long.

She is so sweet and patient.  She has only been home about 1 month but her personality is obvious.

She loves BATH TIME
(go to our blog to see video)

She loves PLAYING
(with her "Mr. Fan" and her mobile)

and COOING

We love...
HER SMILES

FEEDING HER
(through her G-Tube)
DRESSING her

HOLDING her

we are so greatful for everything that she has overcomed...

a breathing and feeding tube

an ambulance ride

lots of tubes and needles

LIGHTS

a Tracheotomy and a G-Tube

and all with the help of people that cared for her
(Brent)

held her hand through the hard times

kissed her forehead

stayed by her side

waited patiently

wrote her letters

We know that HEAVENLY FATHER has given her a strong spirit and she will overcome all the challenges that await her.

We want to THANK YOU for your many prayers, meals, and support.
We couldn't have done it without you.

p.s. the letter was written by Drew.  It says "Dear Cheyenne, I love you and I hope you feel better. I am so excited to have a baby sister. Love Drew"

OCJH Choir Concert

Frankie had his last choir concert (for Jr High) last week.  This one was extra special.  He had a solo.  I am so proud of him and his fearless way to share his talent.
I am so glad to be his mom.

Dance 'Til You Drop

(No Pun Intended)
Drew had a competition this past week.  They did really good! Here's some pictures and a video.  Enjoy!
(p.s. the girl with the back flip mishap is ok.)

Two Is Better Than One

Drew has always felt left out because she only has one dad.  In our family having only one dad is the exception to the rule.  Almost everyone around her has two dads. I think she just feels left out because Frankie gets to go visit his "other dad" in California and comes back with gifts.

After Cheyenne was born, she made this comment:
" Finally, I'm not the only one with just one dad "

Peek-A-Boo

This little baby snuck up on you!  Well, not really.  Cheyenne Chispita (Spark) was born on March 23 but spent her first 34 days of her life at Primary Children's Hospital.  She was born at 8:14 pm by emergency C-section. She weighted 6lbs 5 oz. and was 19 inches long. She is doing really well. Can breathe on her own and has the most calm little spirit. She's really easy going. CeCe (as we call her) was born with LOTS of curly hair. I think her hair is going to be just like Drew's and has the most beautiful peach skin!
She was diagnosed with Golden Har Syndrome. We knew that she might have this, after some abnormalities to her chin were found on the 20 week ultrasound. She has all the features of it which mainly occurs on the face -- . Yet she is so BEAUTIFUL! You can't help but to love her.
We knew it would be awesome to have her in our family, but didn't realize how much of a blessing she would be.
