Tonight Drew was trying to convince Pax to sleep in her bed. This was her conversation:
"Pax, you have to try to sleep in my bed because you're not a baby puppy anymore. Did you know that?"
"Even though you are tinny you are a big dog now. "
"You really need to try to sleep in my bed because when the baby comes you won't fit in mommy and daddy's bed" "Not even I can sleep in their bed."
"Then, you'll have to get used to sleep in your bed when the baby is bigger, because the baby is going to sleep in my bed"
"You have to be brave!" "When I spent the night somewhere else I was scared, but now I'm brave." "Just try".
Needless to say, Pax was confused and only lasted about 30 seconds on her bed. He ran down and came cuddle with us on the couch.
I've been pretty preoccupied and needing something to do. For the most part we are ready for baby so I have been going crazy trying to figure out what to do to pass time. I finally decided to re-upholster our dinning room chairs. Here's before and after pictures. They really needed it. Our old seats, although they were microfiber, weren't very easy to clean and as you can see looked horrible.
I loved how they turned out! The down side, they only took me a few hours...on the look out for project #2.
A week ago a friend of ours took pictures of Drew. Drew had a blast dressing up and posing. She liked it so much she decided that she wanted to be a photographer and have her own photo shoot with us as her models. She changed me into a bunch of different outfits and posed me and Grant. She was saying stuff like "work it" and "you look divine". I thought it was so cute! She had us doing action shots too. Like the surprised with Grant and I and the ones of me skipping with a flower and then a balloon.
Here's what she got. Now, don't blame the photographer. She did her best with what she had.
Drew typed this on my phone and asked me to send it to her friend.
