{ Projects }

One thing I love about being a stay at home mom is that I have time to do my projects.  Of course I don't do this all alone.  I have a great supportive husband that not only allows me to buy all the fabric I want, but he keeps the kiddos away so that I can work on them.

Here is my latest!  This duvet cover only took me 2 days to complete (if I worked on it straight it would've taken me about 2 hours).

Next project....Pillows for her room and ours!

I'm sure when Frankie gets back on Sunday he'll probably add some projects to my list :)

Now, don't get me wrong...Grant also has projects of his own.  Especially now that he's out of school and is here for more than 1 hour a day ;)

In just a few days of work and with the help of our good friend Kyle, we have vents and framed walls.  I will post new pictures as we make progress.

On the last days, Drew and I just had some fun time at the park and since I look nothing like Drew I fit right in with all the nannies.

The Final Destination

While Grant was in New York I was without a computer and was unable to post this very important event! YES!!...WE made it! We reached the light at the end of the tunnel.  Grant graduated in April from BYU.  Congratulations to Grant and all that can achieve such a huge accomplishment.  It was tough and I was just a bystanding wife. 

What will be our final destination?  We don't know yet, Grant is looking for a job in his field, Public Relations.  Hopefully here in Utah were we want to stay. He did an internship at BYU and in New York which will make him more marketable.  I am so happy that he was able to get a degree in something that he trully enjoys. The degree has given him a boost in selfconfidence and our family a great role model.  It was worth every sacrifice we all made.

Thank you to all for the things you've done for us to be able to accomplish this.  Especially to Grant's parents, Bob and Doreen, for raising Grant and helping him become the great person, husband and dad that he is.

New York - Day 5

Frankie headed to California this morning :(.  I really wish he could've stayed here longer. 
We took it a little easy today.  We mostly hung out at Central Park.  We didn't have batteries for our camera so we couldn't take many pictures (for some reason "they don't sell bateries in central park").  Here are some from my phone.

Some of the things we saw were the row boats, a wedding, statutes, and lots of dogs. Tons of different street performers like acrobats, muscians, jugglers and skaters. There are so many talented people. 

It was a nice relaxing day with just us and 8 million of our closest friends, but it wasn't too crowded cause the park is so big.

New York - Day 4

On Day 4 of our trip, we visited the amazing STATUE OF LIBERTY. It is an amazing sight. Drew wasn't feeling good and slept the whole time we were there.

Then we went to Ellis Island. Although, I personally didn't have any ancestors come through there, Frankie and Grant did. It was cool to look for their names and imagine them coming to America in the hopes of a better life!

We also stopped at the financial district.

of course we couldn't end the fun without a final trip on the subway. Here's a sideways video of Drew's acrobatic abilities. She had all the people smiling and laughing.
