Kaleidoscope 2009-2010

I've meant to post pictures and videos of Drew's performances with her dance company Kaleidoscope as they have happened, but for some odd reason I never got to it.
Drew and her friends performed several times this year and competed against other dance companies.  They had lots of success, but most of all, they all grew individually and together.  They are a very talented little bunch.  I think I speak for all of us (the girls and families) when I say that we all loved it.

Drew has recently tried out for a company and made it to the Pee Wee company at Center Stage.  She is very excited and so am I...of course.  I hope to post pictures and updates at a timely manner this time around.

Camping

Grant took the kids (including Pax) camping this past weekend.  They had a great time along with their cousins.  This was Drew's and Pax's first time out camping and they both loved it!

Our Cute Tomato Plant

This summer we finally took the plunge and planted some tomatoes.  Ok..I know that's not such a big plunge but it is for me. And I know, I'm probably cheating by having a Topsy Turby but hey...it's better than nothing! I am known for killing even the toughest plants. So we finally picked the first cherrie tomato and Drew and I split it.  It was DELISH! and a tease! I can't wait till the other ones ripe. Now I wish I would've planted regular tomatoes.

Sew Impressed!

I have decided to teach Drew how to sew.  She has done really well following instructions and has sewed some of her own projects.  I really hope to create not only some great projects but memories with her.  I still remember sewing with Mamatina (my grandma) when I was little.

Grant worked on the Basement (that will be his project all summer, I'm sure).  All the framing and wiring is done.  wahoo!

Now that Frankie's back I'm sure I'll find some projects for him to work on as well :)

On my last day in Bakersfield, my dad took me to Little Italy. I had the Rigatoni with Sausage and Peppers. It was fantastico! Best italian I've ever had!
