(No Pun Intended)
Drew had a competition this past week. They did really good! Here's some pictures and a video. Enjoy!
(p.s. the girl with the back flip mishap is ok.)

Two Is Better Than One
Drew has always felt left out because she only has one dad. In our family having only one dad is the exception to the rule. Almost everyone around her has two dads. I think she just feels left out because Frankie gets to go visit his "other dad" in California and comes back with gifts.
After Cheyenne was born, she made this comment:
" Finally, I'm not the only one with just one dad "

Learning How To Drive
We've been working on driving with Frankie. One day he made this comment with such confidence:
"Now all I have to learn is how to turn, go and stop".
(ummm...that would help!)

Until We Meet Again
This past weekend (March 19th, 2011) my great grandma, Mama Licha, passed away. She celebrated her 110th birthday this past January (although some may argue it was her 111th). This lady is such a great example of endurance and hard work. She had her own little stand in Guatemala were she worked until she was 102. The only thing that stopped her from continuing to work was her deteriorating vision.
I am so glad that not only I but my children were able to partake in a little bit of her presence during our visit to Guatemala. I was so amazed that as soon as walked in the room she remembered me! As we visited, she told us stories and all the things she's seen. It's amazing to think of all the things she's endured and all the lives she's touched.
She definitely touched the lives of her 2 children, 6 grand children, 18 great-grand children and 24 great-great-grand children...and counting.
I know she is happily in heaven and now knows that God didn't forget her as she told me during one of our conversations. Whatever the reason was for her to be here on this earth for 110 years, she now understands and it's finally paying off!
